Our surveys include full flow and load surveys of treatment works, pumping station surveys, MCERTS surveys and flowmeter calibrations.
Flowcheck is a certified MCERTS inspection company and specialist provider of flow measurement and hydraulic surveying services, specifically tailored towards the Water and Wastewater industry.
The methods we use in our hydraulic surveys are very practical and ‘hands on’. We take accurate measurements of process variables e.g. pressure, flow and level, to determine exactly how a process or pumping system is functioning. The information we supply is often used as a basis for future designs and as an accurate starting point for modelling engineers. We perform surveys throughout the life of an asset from project optioneering and design through to contract acceptance, problem solving and energy optimisation. Flowcheck is an approved MCERTS inspection company. Our MCERTS inspectors are authorised to survey both open channel flow meters and closed pipe flow meter installations.
Hot tapping (under pressure drilling) enables tapping points to be installed into pressurised pipes without the need for isolation and without any disruption to the operation of the plant or the process.

The output from a rectangular flume open channel flowmeter could be viewed on the computer screen of the site SCADA control system. A trend display of the flow measurement indicated the flow rate regularly went high and often it would go full scale.
